Module I — August 23 to October 18, 2010

TH 201 Biblical Interpretation – Hermeneutics, 3 Units

A detailed study of the development and practice of the principles of biblical interpretation focusing on the literal, grammatical, historical, method as contrasted with the allegorical method of interpretation. Includes theory and practical application of the hermeneutic science. Symbols, figures of speech, and types are discussed and the relationship of interpretation to application is presented.
 
Dates: 8 weeks beginning Monday, August 23, 2010 (7pm-10pm)
Location: Calvary Chapel Campus - Room 202B
 
Costs:
  For Credit: $80 per unit (total $240 per class - returning students)
One time $25 application fee (total $265 - new students)
 
  For Audit: $25 per unit (total $75)

Module II — October 25 to December 13, 2010


TH 202 Doctrine of the Bible, 3 Units

An examination of the Bible including revelation, inspiration, inerrancy, authority, canonicity, and preservation. A discussion of Dispensationalism will be covered as it relates to developing a normal interpretive method of the Bible.

 
Dates: 8 weeks beginning Monday, October 25, 2010 (7pm-10pm)
Location: Calvary Chapel Campus - Room 202B
