BACHELORS IN BIBLICAL STUDIES

The curriculum leading to the Bachelors in Biblical Studies (BBS) degree is a four-year, 129-unit course of instruction designed to develop Christian character, provide a sound comprehensive biblical, theological and apologetic foundation and the appropriate skills for ministry in a local church or wide variety of Christian ministries. The purpose of the BBS program is achieved by enabling students to:  
                 
  Explain and summarize the Bible;
  Define and defend the truth of the gospel and Christian doctrine;
  Defend a theological position based on a consistent hermeneutic;
  Define the Christian worldview as it applies to contemporary issues;
  Become more involved in leadership and ministry in a local church, global missions, or other ministries.
