CERTIFICATE IN APOLOGETICS

Apologetics is the practice of defending the Christian faith against those who raise objections to its validity. Christianity is under attack throughout the world and the believer needs to fight the good fight of faith without shrinking back. A strong foundation in apologetics coupled with an understanding of other religions and cults positions the believer to provide rational, intelligent and relevant explanations of Christian viability. The Certificate in Apologetics curriculum provides the student with this knowledge to define and defend what the truth of the gospel is. The Certificate in Apologetics courses of study are:

  AP-201 Biblical Apologetics 3 Units
  AP-202 World Religions 3 Units
  AP-301 Survey of the Cults 3 Units
  AP-302 Crucial Issues of the 21st Century 3 Units
 
  Total academic credits 12 Units
 
Courses taken toward the Certificate in Apologetics are credit courses requiring application and enrollment at CCPC. All courses completed successfully are applicable to the requirements for the Associates and Bachelors degree programs of study at CCPC.
